Welcome to Kyokushin Karate Mouko Dojo Brisbane, an International Karate Organisation Kyokushinkaikan Union ( IKOKU ) Accredited Kyokushin Karate Dojo.
.
After ten years with KIMAA Kyokushin, we changed our name to Kyokushin Karate Mouko Dojo in February 2022 after resigning from the organisation.
In may 2022 the Board of the International Karate Organisation Kyokushinkaikan Union accepted our application to become an accredited IKOKU Dojo.
.
The name "MOUKO" was given to Sensei Rob and the dojo by a lovely Japanese family who trains with us and it means "fearless tiger".
Sensei was born in 1974, the year of the tiger and in 2022, our tenth year being of service to our local community, it's also the Year of the Tiger so "MOUKO" was the perfect new name and represents the mindset needed to win, achieve and succeed.
.
We build confidence and self esteem in men, women and children through accomplishment. We show you the path to feeling safe, confident and secure going about your everyday business.
Our dojo has produced local and state champions in both kata and kumite and we pride ourselves on bringing out the very best in our students.
We encourage our students to set goals so high that they'll never achieve them in their lifetime because society encourages people to set goals so low they won't be disappointed when they don't achieve them.
We are committed to showing you the path to feeling safe, confident and secure going about your everyday business.
Stay tuned as we update this section shortly.
